Evelyn`s Nanaquaket Drive-In in Tiverton

It waa the worse new england clam chowder i ever had. Got my order wrong on top if it all and way over priced i rather drive to the cape

I’m really disappointed in the seafood around this area. I’ve lived in Fall River for almost 1 1/2 years now and I’ve yet to find good seafood. My clam strips were WAY overcooked so much that they were dark dark brown and so chewy. The clam cakes were good. The NE clam chowder was flavorless and the potatoes were overcooked/mushy. The calamari was good but only 50% of the container was actual calamari rings. There were, no lie, 6-7 small squid bodies in the container which I don’t like. I’ve seen places serve them before but only 1 at MOST! Not 6-7 of them. My boyfriend had a lobster roll and he said that was just okay. He said the bun was soggy and the lobster was just okay. I’m not even picky with food. I just can’t seem to find decent seafood. I’m about to just give up and wait till I visit my family on the Cape because that seems to be all I can find for good seafood.

Out side dining, following cdc guidance, super clean, good costumer service, fresh sea food.

Great food and service and the outdoor seating is really lovely, advertised as casual dining but has quality food and beautiful views.

Excellent seafood but way overpriced compared to the other great places in R.I. to get the same offerings. $32 for whole belly clams? It was a treat once but I’ll stay local next time.

Awesome little spot on the waterside with excellent service amazing food, will definitely be back! Totally set up for social distancing for a safe enjoyable experience

Been twice, not a tasty place at all. The stuffed quahogs were the WORST I’ve ever had in my life. Really unfortunate for the great location it’s on

It was wonderful as always. Service was perfect. Beautiful view ...authentic..perfect chowder lobster clams and scallops. Everyone had a smile looking out to the harbor and boaters. The folks were lined up wit respect.

First timer here. Ordered both the Rhode Island and New England bowls and clam cakes. The breading for the clam cakes is nicely seasoned, more clam please. The soups won't have me coming back. Definitely a great view.

First time I ever had clam cakes. They were great! Rhode Island clam chowder was good too.

Just ok had chowder and clam cakes just ok not many clams in the cakes chowder was thick with corn starch

Nice place with good seafood. Seating wasn't possible at our visit because of the virus. Only reservations at the time. In spite of the situation I was pleased with the way things were being done.

Well worth the drive from MA. My wife and I found this place some 3 years ago just out driving around. Now we come out a couple times a year. This first time of the year happened to be on our anniversary and like I said it's well worth the drive.

First time this year and was surprised they look like the entrance to a Disney ride crowd control A+. fast service great pricing and totally Awesome food my wife and I are so pleased. looks like I know where I will have my 50 Th wedding anniversary dinner since we cant travel and have to stay home thanks to all the problems in the world. I thank you Evelyn's your food is great.

Been coming to Evelyn's since I was a kid and they've always been my favorite for clam cakes. Perfect to go or to sit out on the patio

My girlfriend and I did not like the food. The RI chowder was very bland. Potatoes had turned into sponges (sat in the soup too long). Tons of broth in the soup, but that’s a good thing if you like to dip stuff in it. Lots of fat floating on the top. Clams were few and far between. Clam cakes were pretty tasteless. Not saying it’s a bad place, just not anything we would return for. Service was friendly.

Good seafood but the clam chowder left something to be desired and the lobster roll for the price didn't even have butter on it. Quality food but maybe you have to.ask for butter and such.

A traditional New England fried seafood joint in a beautiful location. The fish was incredible, whole clams fresh, and tartar sauce delicious. Obviously not their fault, but market prices for shellfish these days are ridiculous. Highly recommended and clearly popular as it’s always busy when driving by.

Evelyn's Drive In is a seafood restaurant situated on the water. They have outdoor seating and a small indoor area. They seem to have the best connection on fresh seafood. This is the place for a fried clam or scallop roll. They also feature live music during the summer as well as picnic benches and outdoor seating. Top seafood spot here. By the way, the fries are really good here.

This was my first visit to Evelyn's. My wife is from Tiverton and insisted that we eat here while visiting plus I always enjoy checking out "Triple D" joints when we're on the road. We were seated right away and our server was very nice. Our order was ready quickly and the food was delicious. Will definitely try again next time we're in the area.

Perfect! They were great about masks & distancing, disposable menus. And of course the clam cakes & fries and the glorious waterview on rhe patio were exactly what we needed after many many weeks of quarantine. Thank you Evelyn's

Great lobster rolls and fried shrimp platter.My wife gets the fried whole clams. The first time since reopening, they were pretty chewy but the taste was good. Last weekend they were great. Definitely will go back. Maybe even today 7/19/20

Don't bother they are rude and always a reason you can get what you want plus food is spotty.

Socially distance and all we had a great lunch today. Were lucky to get seated on Patio. The day was perfect. Great view, great drinks, great food and excellent service.

Food was good and a decent size plate. Pricey$$$. Outside dining on the water.

Went on a Friday night for the first time. View was excellent and the clam cakes were amazing but that’s about it. The NE clam chowder was not hot just warm and basically broth with few clams and potatoes. The RI chowder was hot and plentiful. The fried whole belly clams were very small and I’m not sure how these passed the ring test for harvesting. Bellies no bigger than a frozen pea. The plate was small for 32.99! Lobster rolls were good but can get the same thing anywhere in NE. Drinks and apps came quickly and food took forever. Tables that came after us got their food before we did. Overall, won’t go back because the food was subpar, warm not hot, and prices were on the higher end.

We ordered a seafood platter and clam cakes Lots of bad French fries and very little seafood Everything was rubbery. $69.10 , now I know why it’s a tourist spot because of the location.

Absolutely beautiful location and great service. The food was ok. The fish and chips tasted like the fryer oil needed changing.

This place has basically turned Into a tourist trap. On the high end of pricing for seafood, and quality pretty low. Clams and scallops were small, didn’t taste that fresh, and were a rather small portion considering the price. One of their signatures, RI style clam chowder is just okay, on the blander side. The location is still terrific, however not worth it with so many other great NE seafood options both in the area and further....

Place was and is amazing. The clam cakes are so so good! Went there, and the service was fast. Sat down inside because my girlfriend is pregnant but they have outdoor seating also. Wanted fish and chips and asked if it was possible to get a handful of clam strips on top, the lady suggested a fish and shrimp plate but she was going to ask to cook if there was a possible way to sub the shrimp with the clam stripes.... And the cook worked with it. I was absolutly satisfied with the service and the food.

Great Relaxing Atmosphere and Awesome Food!

Usually a favorite of ours failed to please us tonight. To begin with it took forever to place our order as their internet was down, had to wait 20 minutes to get the order placed. People around us were complaining that they’ve been waiting over an hour for their food. When we finally got our chowder and clam cakes, they were subpar at best. The chowder was like warm and the clam cakes were dry and barely warm. Hopefully it was just opening week glitches that got the best of them.

Servers were polite and friendly, and the fries were great. But if you’re going for seafood, DONT. Their lobster roll was NOT fresh. They are misleading people to believe that their lobster is fresh, but after complaining to a friend of mine about my disappointing experience, they revealed to me that they buy their lobster now at COSTCO (A RI DINE IN THAT IS ON THE WATER LIKE COME ON). Extremely dissatisfied with my overpriced, rubbery lobster. Only reasons they get a star at all is because the workers were friendly.

Id give 5 stars but the prices are extremely high and not listed. $50 for 1 seafood plate and clamcakes.

Wife and I went here for a quick lunch on the water. They're one of the few restaurants I've seen sanitizing tables and chairs before seating patrons.Wife got Crabby Patty and I (a non seafood eater) got the Wicked Good Chicken Sandwich. For a seafood restaurant that has non seafood options, I was very impressed. Sandwich kind of fell apart as I ate it but it was delicious.This will be a new summer spot for us.

Love coming here when I'm visiting the area. Great lobster rolls and margaritas. Beautiful view when you sit outside. Definitely worth the drive and the wait.

Delicious New England clam chowder and clam cakes.

First time this summer to eat there. Pricing is okay, serving could be a little more. Customer service was excellent. I hope I was just unlucky to get side veggies (with fish) that was too spicy, it couldn't be eaten.

Inside and outside deck. Great panoramic views from the outside deck. Have not had dinner there but the lunches have been great. Service has always been good and the staff is friendly and accomodating. Always a destination on the way to Little Compton.
